4th Grade Agricultural Education
Over 2,000 4th-grade students set foot on MetraPark grounds over the course of three days during the NILE Stock Show & Rodeo. Educating today’s youth is a vital part of NILE’s mission, and the 4th Grade Ag Ed Program ensures students leave with a wealth of knowledge about agriculture.
This great program is a collaborative effort with the NILE, surrounding county extension offices, the Yellowstone County Farm Bureau, and multiple volunteers.
During their visit, students and teachers have a hands-on learning experience, learning about various topics in the agriculture industry such as water and soil conservation, honey bees, native weeds, grasses, plants, livestock, and more.
